WFO currently offers 4 Big Game Hunt Packages perfect for hunters looking to fill their freezers for winter with high quality, great tasting meat. Big Game Hunting packages offered are Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer and Antelope hunts.

Elk Hunt Applications are due January 1-31. Draw results are available the following month in mid February.

Deer and Antelope Hunt Applications are due January 1- April 31. Draw results are available in June.

5 Day Elk Hunts in Northeastern Wyoming

Elk Hunt Includes Food And Lodging.

• Elk Applications must be in by Jan 31st, NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Drawings are held each year around Feb 22nd.
• 50% Deposit is Required on All Elk Hunts once License/Tags are drawn.
• All Elk Hunts are 1 on 1 with no more than 2 hunters per week during archery season (Sept 1- Sept 30) and no more than 4 hunters per week during rifle season (Oct 15- Nov 5). Cow Elk Hunts remain open until Nov 15th for rifle hunters.
• Elk hunts are all on private land between two elk refuges. We have over 200 resident elk on the land with an excellent bull to cow ratio. Easy terrain to hunt with a 1 to 2 shot opportunity per day. 280 to 360 class elk bulls can be expected in our hunting areas.

4 Day Whitetail Deer Hunts

All Deer Applications are due by April 31 each year.

Whitetail Deer Hunt Includes Food And Lodging.

Whitetail Deer are known for the white underside of it’s tail, reddish brown coat in spring and summer and grayish brown coat during fall and winter, whitetail deer or white-tailed deer are an exciting and popular choice of hunters.

4 Day Mule Deer Hunts

All Deer Applications are due by April 31 each year.

Mule Deer Hunt Includes Food And Lodging.

Mule Deer which are known for their large ears similar to that of a burro or donkey. They also have a black tip on their tails, forked horn configurations and larger bodies. Wyoming Mule Deer are a choice species of deer to hunt in Northeastern Wyoming.

3 Day Antelope Hunts (Pronghorn Antelope)

All Antelope Applications are due by April 31 each year.

Antelope Hunt Includes Food And Lodging.

Antelope, also known as Pronghorns or Pronghorn Antelope in North America, are known for the white fur on their rumps, sides, breasts, bellies, and across their throats and a distinct musky odor. Antelope have very large eyes with a 320 degree field of vision. They are also known as the fastest land mammals in the Western Hemisphere with sprints of up to 55 miles per hour. They prefer open terrains and elevations between 3000 and 5900 ft, which we have plenty of here in Northeastern Wyoming.
